Donna Stavis 0 Posted September 21, 2009 There is an undertone of vulnerability mixed with something being off. The empty birdcage is what does it. Also there is a feel of no movement as if she is temporarily stopped in her tracks. Is she going to capture and imprison a bird? There's an air prey about this. Perhaps she will be captured. Congratulations on the publication of this. Link to comment
lliebl 5 Posted September 21, 2009 The open cage is the intrigue and introduces the enigma of "freedom". Is letting go synonymous with setting free? . . . or. in fact, is the preference that of being caged as protection from the outside and unknown? A very compelling photo. My compliments! jeffl7 0 Posted September 22, 2009 What a fantastic shot! The crook of the arm paired with the nice draping of its mate. The calf rushing back under the umbrage of her skirt. And her mission is clear, or is it? An invitation to be caged in emptiness. I also love the silvery weeds, whispering sweet nothings as she passes. Link to comment
