Thank you Mark. He is in a bit of a defensive pose. He did not care for my efforts to shoot his photo. I am trying to improve the focus on the eyes. Auto-focus seems to miss the mark, so I am practicing my manual focus.

I imagine macro focus is a particularly hard skill. I think you almost have to go manual. One of these days, I'll pick up a macro/micro lens and try my hand at such curiously compelling images. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the work of photographers such as yourself.
