A wonderful green (very difficult to render) with perfect dof, color saturation and exposure.

The foreground appears to be both soft and sharp at the same time. As always your composition, exposure and processing are are spot on.

I haven't seen something like this before!

Beautifully peaceful Mark, I love the dash of yellows sprinkled in there. The greens look a hair cyan/saturation to my eye, but the warm tones and greens are a lovely contrast.

This is one of your best California foothills photos ever. First, as has been said, the composition is superb and perfect! Second, I have come to realize that I know of no other photographer who is so artistic in the use of color. This is a masterful example of processing and conveying emotion. This simply cannot be topped! I would be thrilled to hang a large print of this on my wall! Into my "Favorites" this goes. Well done, Mark! Cheers! Chris

Thanks to Mauro, Leo, Pierre, Yannik, Floris and Chris. Floris, I think you are right, a little red would also help the background as well. I actually added some red and a little magenta before printing this and it came out looking pretty good. Wow, Chris, those are very kind regards from you. Thanks so much! Yes, we need to get out some time to shoot your namesake, Bear Mountain. It may not be too soon, but there is a good bet that we can get up there in the spring for some wildflowers, even if I have to drag Kennis and Jerry along.
