Great shot...I love the reflection in the "eye"! Great shutter speed...out of interest how long did it take you to capture this?

It is hard enough to get a sharp shot of these buggers standing still. You must have the patience of Job or the fasted reflexes in the world!

Nice focus on that with the nice clean background ... Mark, I had a few shots of this particular species too but not as big in the frame and not sure if Len caught it in motion but I notice this species hovers a lot in mid-air so it was fairly easy for me to get a few shots, just had to be precise with focus.

 

Len, did you crop, how big was it in the frame? Thanks.
