morey_kitzman 0 Posted January 14, 2003 This is how Zion appeared the first time I went there. A year later and the feeling was quite different. Please comment and rate. Link to comment
david_rivas 0 Posted January 14, 2003 What a great shot! The angle of the light source comming from the front makes for a very emotive picture. I would not change a thing except frame it and hang on my wall. Well done. Link to comment
aaron_nelson 0 Posted January 14, 2003 Excellent framing using the trees. The tones came through great on the screen, I'd love to see the original. Beautiful. Link to comment
marcelosoriarodriguez 0 Posted January 15, 2003 I really like the composition here: how you placed the trees so that they lead the viewer into the picture. The first one on the left welcomes one into the scene, and invites to enter and have a look. Then the one the right margin redirects you towards the one farther away, in the middle, from where you can just go anywhere you would like... And the sky is great: imho, it looks better like that, covered with clouds, than with a clearer sky. It definitely adds more to the mood... Everything is worth its place here in this picture! maria_s. 1 Posted April 12, 2003 Awesome ... was this a long exposure with a red/orange filter on? Link to comment
morey_kitzman 0 Posted April 13, 2003 Maria The exposure was probably 1/15 and no filters were used. The sky was overcaste, early morning, so the light was nicely diffused. Thanks. Link to comment
jackmaddox2 0 Posted April 28, 2003 No filters? Then how come the monochrome? The shapes and angles are very complex and interesting; but I'd have shown the colors too. A personal choice, of course. Very, very well done. Link to comment
