I've seen millions of flamingos on lake Nakury and some hyenas turning around but never such an opportunity !

Wow! Amazing shot! I hope the bird got away! Someone asked "Can't the bird just fly away? Don't flamingos fly"? Yes, flamingos fly but hunting animals can be very quick! I know Cheetah's have amazing speed but looking at this animal, it looks to be a hyena. I'm not sure on the speed of a hyena but the way those legs are positioned and the distance of his travel tells me it is much quicker than the response of the flamingo! I hope it was able to get away, I really do! This is really a great capture and an amazing photo! Thank you for sharing. :)
