mclain swift 0 Posted September 10, 2009 You people that are terrified of genitalia make me laugh - it's just a body part - grow up already. As for the photo, it really does nothing for me. There are so many distracting elements and no real point of focus beyond the obvious and the model's rear end alone is not strong enough to support this image. I am not sure what you are trying to convey here. Link to comment

I am a devout Christian and photos like that are hardly in keeping with how God wants us to live our lives, on either of the camera. From the tone of your email, it does certainly appear to me that you and I are miles apart spiritually. Whatever floats your boat, we will all be held accountable one day to the Father. I for one want my meeting to be a joyous one. You and you alone are responsible for how yours goes. Maybe it is you who needs to do a little soul searching. Link to comment
kellyn 0 Posted September 11, 2009 Scott i could not agree with you more, I too am a committed Christian and have no fear of a naked body or the various parts there of, but i do not believe that this photo does justice to God or the women portrayed therein. Kelvin Link to comment
keiffer 0 Posted September 12, 2009 I won't enter into the debate... I will say that the bounce/fill light is gratuitous. By that I mean it does push this emotionally towards porn (for me - and I'm a non-Christian horney kinda guy). I think you can show (and I gladly look at) female genitalia, without it being porn~ish. I have seen plenty of close ups, that are more about form, light, and beauty, while not being porn~ish. Link to comment
andrew_pastore 0 Posted September 17, 2009 Hey, Christian people. If you are such devout believers then why are you even clicking on a thumbnail to view this photograph? I guess you are't too worried about it. Go somewhere else to spew your Christian beliefs. Link to comment

johnya 0 Posted October 8, 2009 Ok so we can argue about whether or not this is bordering on Porno.... what is porno...not sure myself sometimes... but it gets very dangerous when people start mixing up GOD and what GOD would like and not like.... what does a NUDE have to do with religion anyway. The woman showing her genitalia maybe offensive to some people, then I say dont look at it. Again it is very dangerous to start censoring these pages for any reasons - as long as it is not illegal of course. It seems that what some people seem to be objecting to is the fact that we see things that some people dont believe should be seen in art. Is this art? What is art I will ask. To some, just a nude form is porn. I read this morning a comment on this site by someone who claims that no body parts are ever art. Who is supposed to decide that. I think we all should have a chance to make that decision ourselfs. As far as this picture, I do not consider it porn simply because I can see the WHOLE photo, I am not dwelling on a few inches of her body. It seems that some people can only see a small area of the photo and cannot see the artistic values - like the lighting which is superb - the dark sky outside - the feel of the softness of the woman and the harshness of the world she is looking at - I think the open legs create a strange dicotomy for the senses and some people cannot get beyond that.
