This is a beautiful photo. My preference would have been to crop the top and about the bottom third. The photo does not need a lead in that the lower third provides. A little bit off the top would be useful too, in my opinion. Your photo has is a real attention grabber.

Steve: thank you for your opinion, i appreciate it. however, i dont think a crop you suggested would improve this image, as some important elements of composition would be lost. but it would be a good idea for a different picture in this location.
