Made of honor

In a rainy day, the bride and made of honor stopped by a monument at midnight to take some pictures. They didn't seem to be bothered by the rain.

I am impressed that you attempted this shot in such difficult shooting conditions!

The composition is cool. I like how you've positioned everything, although perhaps a little less of the reflected foreground would be better.

The thing that does concern me about the shot is that it seems to lack sharpness. I can't find your focus point on the picture. The subject and the bollards around her do not seem to be quite in focus. This might be due to server compression, but it does hamper this otherwise original image.

Hi Rob and thank you for your thoughts.

The focus was on her (centered because of the pour light) and after I did a crop to take her out of the center. She is not quite sharp because of exposure time which was 1/15 of a second at ISO 1600. Above this (she was quite still when talking to the phone) the rain made the picture a little softer.

But I like the atmosphere in this image. She is so happy, despite the heavy rain.

Great shot! I love the angle (and the crop) the rain and the obvious smile on her face.

I hardly noticed it was a night shot. (Maybe a tad darker would improve?)

But who am I kidding, it's really lovely and it doesn't need tweaking.
