clarkgray 0 Posted September 5, 2009 Have been having a discussion with a couple of friends about how to crop this photo. I like it as seen here. A couple of them find the view down the street to be too busy and think it should be cropped to the left of the musician. Any other opinions? Link to comment
fabrizio_r 0 Posted September 5, 2009 I think its ok in this way, the musician is at center of two perspective and it give so deepness to the image; maybe i woulld see this scene in a b/w instead in HDR, i m sure it would be great. A very good work anyway Clark! Link to comment
Karl Schuler 48 Posted September 6, 2009 The strange thing of this photo is that the perspective lines of the two buildings of the photo do not merge in the same point. This gives an uneasy feeling. One would expect the two rows of buildings to be parallel but probably they are not or there is some other distortion in the picture? Hope this helps. Karl Link to comment
a.turhan 0 Posted September 6, 2009 As it is, the two rows of buildings go towards centre but since the musician is positioned slightly lower and perspective lines don't merge as Karl notes, I feel you could crop the left row of buildings to ease the sight. Regards... Link to comment
Katerina Pachou 1,754 Posted September 6, 2009 Dear Clark If I would crop, I would crop the right side of the wall (the corner) exactly at the line of the corner of the wall. I think it would emphasize the depth of the picture and bring the man even more in front. Regards Link to comment
