Excellent B/W work and a very intreguing shot . It wasn't until I read the comments that I found out what the subjects were ! Bill

Thankyou for sharing this shot.  I was not aware of this place and all the dialogue has been most interesting. Your black and white work is impressive (That is a given)...but very good processing on this shot. Tnx for sharing, sincere regards, gail

Thank you for having a look at this one. Guess I experienced the limits of that lens shooting without flash and handheld...;)...but that was the objective.

So which one of these is Lot's wife, Genesis 19:26, "but Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt".  I'm glad you explained that these are salt sculptures, they look very ominous.  As the number of comments clearly indicate, this is an image that evokes a response.  You were there and of course you saw so much more, you saw what came before and after you took this photo but, for the PN viewers they are only seeing this one image and I suspect many of the responses were very visceral.

Well done,

Jim

Somewhere between a lamprey eel and a hand in glove at the opera.  A dramatic and shocking performance.

Nice to see you digging out some older stuff. This is really something for the 'Connaisseurs' only ;) Unfortunately I only took the the 50mm down with me and this is the best I could achieve. Not easy to interpret and to see the context. Thanks anyway for having a look at this one.

This shot is marvellous, thx for sharing! It´s full of mystic, athmosphere is very intense. The fiqures, stripes at wall, BW and lights make it very strong. I love this! Best regards, Anne : )
