excellent idea good excecution!

I like the way you pop up this well conceived composition out of that deep black. An image that is both static and dynamic at the same time. Very nice!

Great image. I love the idea and the shallow DOP. Great balance between dark and datails.

The only thing to me (could be my screen) is that the shaft of the spoon and a small reflaction beneath it (on the left side) appear burned out with no details. It seems to attract unnecessary attention.

Thanks for the critique Alex. And I agree completely. I had to burn out the shaft because the actual spoon wasn't silver but a gunmetal color so it looked rather dingy and just ugly. Probably should've fixed the reflection though.. Thanks for commenting!
