brendan_trewartha 0 Posted September 3, 2009 Beutiful Pastal color tones early in the morning today which complemented the hazy mist from the long exposure. Thankf for looking, Brendan. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted September 3, 2009 Um, that's 'pastel'. Nicely done though, with excellent use of the slow shutter. Link to comment
brendan_trewartha 0 Posted September 3, 2009 Thanks Les, clearly spelling is not my strong point. I had the shutter open for about 4min on ths exposure, it was a pounding high tide, interesting that the end result paints such a serene landscape. Link to comment
gavin_marchio 0 Posted September 3, 2009 Interesting variation from many of the more detailed landscape shots. I like the simplicity of the scene, for me it conveys a feeling of calmness, which is pretty ironic given that it was a pounding high tide. The only part of the image that troubles me is the darker green rock in the foreground, I find it slightly distracting as the colours are stronger than the rest of the image so it attracts my attention. Would consider either desaturating them or cropping them out (shock horror, a landscape without foreground interest, not sure if that's allowed). Gavin Link to comment

brendan_trewartha 0 Posted September 6, 2009 Thanks Gavin for the suggestion, I still have some to put up where the green rock is not visible, interested to see what you think of these. Javier, Fergus, thanks for your comments. Link to comment
