david_haynes 0 Posted March 3, 2001 This is a new photo of my wife wearing an antique hat. I'm thinking of adding "classic glamour" portraits to my portrait business using an ancient Agfa-Ansco Studio 8x10, Verito soft focus lens and Type 55 Polaroid film. Link to comment
Uhooru 2,207 Posted March 3, 2001 I love this photo of your wife, both from the way you composed it in the frame, to the strong and formidible presence she radiates. Also, I just realized that the way you softened the focus really finishes the photo for me. Link to comment
mark_l.power 0 Posted May 9, 2001 Nice colours particularly but I would add that with this image the lens seems to be doing all the work. ( I have an old Verito which I'm just starting to use). That is to say subject is rather stiffly posed and conventionally placed in the frame. The Verito i have is quite long ( 14.5 inches) which does make it difficult to work with space but compositionally this image could use some pizazz... Link to comment
paul_van_buren 0 Posted October 2, 2001 After looking at this folder I just want to put my camera away and let pros like you fill this place with such vivid and tremedous images. It is almost overwhelming. Link to comment
jonathan_levitin 0 Posted April 21, 2002 Hmm, I have been using 665 film for approx. 10 years and to tell you knowing the qualities of this film using candlelight presents a great idea for future photos. Link to comment
