Moss after a damp spell. I always see this moss and lichen

growing on the wall around our creeks, and think they would make a good

subject, but I just haven't found the correct angle. I think

these two are getting there.

If you can, go back and reshoot this, but bring a spray-bottle of water and squirt everything so it's wet. The wetness will make it darker and saturate the colors better. The darker rock will allow the moss to be more prominent. Also, go on a more overcast day because you've still got some light bleaching going on here. And remove the twig and the leaf and anything else that isn't moss so the viewer won't have anything to look at except the moss and the stone. Just my opinion. Good luck.
