jkilgo 0 Posted September 3, 2009 There are many good things about this portrait...wonderful soft natural lighting, great pose and demure expression...the gown is lovely, but I can't help but think that this would be much more effective in a different setting...for some reason the wooded background doesn't work. Maybe consider a busy urban scene or something with stronger lines and angles...just a thought...still a lovely capture. Link to comment
david_l._forney 0 Posted September 4, 2009 Joanie, While J Kilgo has a valid point, I must say that I have a hard time paying attention to anything but this beautiful model. She is very nicely presented here. A simple way to address at least some of the issues about the background would be to bring the light down everywhere but on the model. More DOF would help as well, but that's a matter to be considered at the time the image is taken. Joanie, you have wonderful images. Thanks for sharing. David Link to comment
