abintraphoto 0 Posted August 31, 2009 The Riff Mountains in northern Africa ......... shot thru the front windshield - in the rain - and the fog - with the wipers on ...................... (and my feet hurt) (-; Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Hello Mr. C ..... yes I beat the windshield wipers on this one - It was a weird place - I am told Katama is 'Hash Central' in Morocco - another Moroccan told me "if you can show your face nowhere else in Morocco - you come to Katama" (-; Link to comment
k c 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Both descriptions of Katama sound very interesting. :) I'm surprised to hear that you are 'still' traveling. Amazing. I guess you'll need a bunch of hard drives to store the photos... I like the muted background in this picture. It's like an oil painted backdrop, making the scene surreal. Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted September 3, 2009 It was the beginning of a 12 hour drive from Gibraltar to Fez ..... we took the 'scenic' route thru the Riff Mountains - and with the fog and mountain roads it turned into the 'long scenic' route ...... the temp outside was 4C - which meant it was 4 degrees away from SNOWING ........ I was expecting more Sahara like conditions in Morocco - I was wrong (-; As for storage - I have about 26G of various size memory cards (Five 4G cards +) so I used them for storage on this 2 week drive .... not ideal but it worked .. ! Phil_Light 795 Posted April 10, 2010 Powerful, evocative, moody and obscured image. Intense drama even without knowing the background of the image, it is still dark and somewhat scary. The lone tail light lit also adds to just this sort of; "everything is not all right" feeling. Fabulous image, your trip sounds like an odyssey as well! Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted April 15, 2010 Philip nice to see you - and that's exactly how it felt - glad you like it and took the time ... ! Link to comment
