ellery 0 Posted September 1, 2009 Yes, very nice portrait - the light is good, skin appears nicely rendered - I like her expression and her hands here - she seems to have alot of character! Link to comment

mitchc 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Thanks to all for the comments and feedback! She does indeed have a lot of character. I get quite a few interesting (and animated) shots of her. And I don't like the title either, but at the time, I couldn't think of a better one. For now it will stay until I can come up with something better. Link to comment
balthazarmaisch 0 Posted September 2, 2009 proposal : "the name of the tree and the date of your shoot " re balth ps: my second return, perfectly, here, confirms my first look; trust me, you've made a "master piece" here" congrats and blah blah blah ... Link to comment
mitchc 0 Posted September 3, 2009 I think I'll just switch it to "Untitled" for now. "Maple 10/12/2008" just doesn't have much of a ring to it...then again, it might be better than "Prayer"... Thank you for your kind words. It's very encouraging... Link to comment
mitchc 0 Posted September 3, 2009 How about "Anticipation"? She was, after all, waiting for me to tell her to "smile big for the camera"... Link to comment
mitchc 0 Posted September 3, 2009 I just realized, I have another photo of her I titled "Anticipation"...oh well...I guess I'll just stick with "Untitled"...it's probably better than forcing the issue. Link to comment
ellery 0 Posted September 3, 2009 I get that criticism about title often.....I am not much a writer....in your case, I dont really care much about the title, the photo is awesome - what is in a title anyway - more photos on here should be without title - the photos perhaps should speak for themselves. I cannot say I have ever been to a formal photography gallery/showing...do they put titles under or over the photos? Anyway, I do wish I was better at coming up with titles at times :) Link to comment
