I really enjoy this from a geometric standpoint. Lots of visual interest for me from the lines, shapes and colors, everything being very well placed in relation to each other.

Quite interesting and funny composition, Jeff. The forms, colors, details and contrast are great. Excellent capture! Regards

Alberto: I like that you like it!

Bob: Of course, this does have a certain Japanese influence, doesn't it. I do believe you guessed the source of my inspiration.

Tim: Hey. Your facebook stuff cracks me up. I wish I had time to comment more. Thanks for the thumbs up on this one.

David: Geometric silliness. With cones. Thanks.

A nice and well-deserved homage!

Nice lines . . . and cones.

Very good and interesting image. I might not have taken it but I can certainly the plethora of forms and lines (vertical, horizontal, sloping lines ). Thanks for sharing. I have just uploaded a unusual one related to a wet windshield - called natural abstract. best regards,

What I really love is your slight tilt of the horizon, making the truck and its load very heavy indead, which in contrast makes Jack's two horns very light.

( Not "that" Jack you were thinking about ?!? ;-) )

Carlos: And away we go.

Fred: Well, I seem to have internalized many muses from PN. I wander around now thinking, "That's a shot that [insert name here] would take." Many muses. Many masters.

Jack: Confused, they discreetly consulted their map and proclaimed, "This ain't Osaka. We shoulda turned left at Albuquerque."

Tony: Geometric silliness. Thanks.

Laurent-Paul: I can't help looking at an orange cone and thinking about Japan. What an odd association. I wonder how it developed? I'll have to consult a therapist.

How strange is that : Having the same association, my therapist had to get me back in time, and it seems that I developped that problem the same day I discovered the work of a certain PN member.

There may be a connection, but then my therapist had to take some time off to consult his own therapist, because of an association he started to have about orange cones and Japan, so I'll probably will never get cured.

I understand you don't have enough work as a therapist so you became a Hi-Jack-errrrr..... with you and your hi-Jacker, my smiles of the day are well arranged....

( real funny and good association....)

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

It's great to be inspired by different talents here at PN. Somehow this reminds me of two friends sharing an intimate conversation.

Laurent-Paul: Sounds like a bad case of orange cone flu. I hope you recover quickly, although I hear that the long-term effects may include a chronic increase in creativity.

Pnina: I have a huge box of pictures in my head. Places and people and themes--each reflecting photographers on this side who have taught me something about what to shoot and how to do it. (You included).

Rashed: It's always great to hear one of your kind, supportive comments.

Adan: A great comparison.

Ruud: Thanks so much.

Laurent J: Coincidence? I drove the truck into place and carefully arranged the cones. And then I built the railing at the perfect angle to amplify the effect...Okay, I didn't do any of that. But sometimes happenstance intersects with intention. There are a number of you all who do street shots so well that I'm always in awe and trying to emulate. Jack is certainly a visual hunter-gatherer, returning each day with amazing catches and discoveries.
