One thing that I personally think is important about an image like this is where the plane of focus ended up. In most portraits, you usually ensure that the eyes (or eye in this case) are in focus, the rest then can usually be just outside the plane. In this case, the point at which the focus hit appears to be a few inches to the rear of her eye, on those little strands of hair that are backlit.

 

I like the angle, and the idea behind the image, I would have preferred that the eye had been in focus. It may also be my monitor, but the light source on the skin appears to be a little cool, throwing off the skin tones on her face. An adjustment in post processing might help that out a bit.
