Beautiful Liar

I would love to know your thoughts and input on this image if you have a

moment!.. I have named this image "Beautiful Liar" on the basis that, as

soon as I learned what thistles are, I constantly heard that essentially

they are weeds and nuisance plants. When I first came to see some in

bloom though I thought they were quite pretty though they appear

vicious in a sense because of their thorny appearance. In being so, I've

only mananged photos of them instead of cultivating them(it doesn't help

I'm allergic as well)! - Thanks for stopping in!

Excelent depth of field, beautiful background that makes the flower stand out

a lot of green here, somehow makes the pink seem special.

I really like this photo a great deal. Someone here on P/N once left me no following tid-bit of information, these are not actually "thistles", but are known as Dipsacus fullonum. I know you are happy to know this, by the way, I really do like your photo.
