ricardovaste 0 Posted August 22, 2009 Sorry if I am boring you with this subject, but I thought it was worth revisiting in a different lighting condition, if for anything just observation. For me the bluring of the grass in the wind works better than the original, more static scene. But I feel the general composition isn't as strong... I don't think the horizon right in the middle works particularly well, I think including another frame of sky would be more effective? This was two shots stitched together... which is where I often seem to mess up on the composition. t/y for looking.
gib 0 Posted August 23, 2009 I think the moving grass limits the static effect of the mid horizon quite well. I browsed the section you submitted to and this one really caught my eye for a closer look....
ricardovaste 0 Posted August 26, 2009 Thanks all for the compliments! My original plan was to shoot this on a stormy day, with the wind blowing, possibly a bit of rain. So, yeah, that didn't happen! I managed to find a shot with more sky to balance the comp. a little more, but there are no hopes for shooting this under different lighting now, as it has all been cut down :(
