davidclapp 0 Posted August 22, 2009 Militiary Orchid, a rare and beautiful plant, photographed using a 1DsIII, 300mm 2.8L and a 2xII converter. It's the best way to photograph plant portraits like these, forget macro lenses. The background and foreground becomes beautifully out of focus, leaving the eye to concentrate on the flower alone.
