"To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
for in the sleep of death what dreams may come.
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
must give us pause."

William Shakespeare (Hamlet)

This is a striking picture, but I do not think of dreaming. I see death... suicide... thy fair Ophelia.

However I do like the bubbles and the rippling of the water around the hair. It gives motion to the stillness.

Overall is a good photograph. Only the bubbles around the mouth is distracting the face, and the right side eye is would be much better if not underexposed a bit.

Could be because at the moment the model sunk in the water, the exposure happened? Because we can see the effect of crowning in the head's area.

a very very strong photo, i love it...with one exception, and that would be the small bubbles around the face, perhaps a small detail, but i find they take so much away from the photo and would be so much stronger an image if they were removed. Other than that comment, this is a stunning photo...very serene and dreamlike.

I Love the way the strong lights and darks in this image play with your eyes and mind. It mirrors the angelically peaceful yet death-like and sinister atmosphere of the image. That is unless you used photoshop (if so you are going straight to hell).

Nice concept. I'm a little ambivalent about the bubbles. In a sense, the bubbles heighten the veracity of the image, but without them, it seems dreamier For me, what gives it a dead aura is how green it is. I'd try a variant with less green. There's too much contrast on the face. I would have used a reflector underwater, held just below the lower edge of the frame.

A PHOTO THAT YOU STOP AND ANALYZE FROM THE

PHOTOGRAPHER POINT OF VIEW BECAUSE IT IS

DIFFERENT FROM SEVERAL POINT OF VIEW.
