myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted October 15, 2009 Is nice and original... seems ot be oil on canvas of a renassiance (spelling) painter. Is the title a question? Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted October 21, 2009 Bulent: It's your imagination. I provided the canvas. Tero: Belatedly, thanks. Meir: It's a blurred picture of a statue at Notre Dame. The title is from a William Blake poem. Although I asked the question, I'll be damned if I know the answer. Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted October 21, 2009 I did not know. It is over 40 years since I saw the Notre Dame.. Is it still there? Link to comment
tonyguinn 69 Posted December 10, 2009 All I see in this image is love and not until I read your back story could I know the depth of that love. Reminded of hot West Texas summer nights with my grandfather, the message is still crystal clear through the blur of tears. Thank you for sharing your art and the effort you go to in making it. Truly inspirational. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted December 16, 2009 Meir: It's been a couple years now, but I assume it's still there. Cheers. Tony: Thanks for your heartfelt comment. I think you captured something I was trying to convey. Connection, albeit a complicated one. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted September 6, 2010 Such a fitting title for this image; I love William Blake's writings and paintings...even the subject here is fitting for a title inspired by William Blake. I cannot understand why you thought this image would be ill-received...it is graceful and beautiful, and the spirituality comes right through! Lovely work Jeff; if we don't experiment how do we learn or know our own voice? Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
