Your style seems to center around graphic details--the line of her arm, the kicker light on the right side of her face and nose, the purple highlight of her head covering--with the mask of her face (the most interesting thing in a portrait for me) left in the shadow.  I wish you would share with your viewers I idea behind this style.  Others who critique your work should say more than "nice shot", they should say why they like it, how it makes them feel, what gives it artistic impact for them.  We don't all have to agree---but we should be willing to share our excitement about an image, or offer ideas for making it better.  My style is "old school traditional" so that is what you see in my upload.  My bias is that I believe photography to be about the light and not the dark so I have trouble enjoying things that I have to strain to see.

I think that if the image emerges from the dark is more impressive, otherwise you could simply obtain a photo good to be put on a document.

Anyway: Quot homines, tot sententiae

Greetings to you all.
