c_spell 0 Posted August 20, 2009 There are many layers to this photograph. I love the depiction of the photographer looking through the glass, the manequin looking out, and the secured by ADT right in the middle of it all, with the camera watching overhead. It is a perfect depiction of western society... Great shot! Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted August 21, 2009 Nice one Simon. I have always been a sucker for reflections and you have handled this collision of realities well. I like you B&W conversion here. I rated this 7/7 although I normally never rate photos and I honestly do not have much of a clue as to what 7/7 even means. I just thought one extra rating may be enough to launch this into the trp to dilute the usual mate rater drivel with an image with a bit of meat on its bones. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 30, 2009 Interesting reflection shot, especially well converted. It's like saying . . . I'm watching you. Link to comment
aplumpton 16 Posted December 24, 2009 Great juxtaposition, Simon. The apparently headless suited mannequin topped by the ADT security sign and the girl (?) looking out of the second story window from an image-less interior. Fine evocation of mystery and surrealism. Really nice tonality, too. Link to comment
