I think this could have been more interesting if the shoulders were also included in the plane of focus.( It seems a little odd and maybe less than flattering to model to have crisp eyes, soft focus torso and truncated neck angle. slumped shoulder feel...) Softer maybe for torso would be OK, but the torso is really blurred. .. As to the lighting, I am not so sure I admire the powerful shadow on her nose and its side angle...Hollywood beauty portraits had a different contrast rartio in my opinion for what it is worth. I personally think it is a a bit harsh if you were after that style..

I like the flowing hair you accomplished nicely. Powerful feel to her eyes you captured... Small face and the angle you chose is maybe more down than I would have. I am thinking that a slight upturn to her head and more depth of focus would have been better in short..... My reaction at first glance,even though I am a bit critical and I observe you have much better b and w portraits in your file, Miguel. I do wish you well, gs
