Taken in a hurry - with a P & S mounted on a tripod - from behind the Many Glacier Lodge, looking across the lake to the mountain, which is dull grey/brown in ordinary light. I have another scan of the same print, larger size, in the same folder.

is what I said to myself when I saw this. How in the WORLD did he... whew- what a feat. this is a stunning moment to say the least. looks like a pyramid of gold. and only with the darkness of the foreground does one appreciate the coloring and light of the peak. beautiful.
