blue-olympus 0 Posted August 16, 2009 Besides the splendid deep yellow of the flower, I really like your positioning of this scene, quite unusual but looking very good....Regards Link to comment

jtipton 0 Posted August 16, 2009 Pamela- It just keeps getting better! That's not to say that anything you've done prior is anything less than marvelous, because it is. This to me this just kicked it up a notch. The composition here is grand. It really showcases your great creativity and talent. Off to my favorites with this one. Excellent job. p.s.- I left a response for you on Ballard. Have a great rest of the weekend. Jim Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted August 16, 2009 This is sublime! The side-lighting is beautiful. While most of us would have wanted to shoot the front of the flower, you've chosen to come in from behind, and it's brilliant composition. In the thumbnail I was afraid that the brown center of the flower was too dark, but you seem to have managed it just perfectly.....dark, but without losing the detail. Very nice work! Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted September 2, 2009 Looks like it's tipped on it's side. Intended or boo-boo? I agree it's very nicely exposed as is though a tad more detail could be gleaned from the seed pod using PS shadows @ about 5% without any adverse affect on the rest of the subject. That is.........if you WANTED more detail there. You may not want that. A fine offering in any case. Best, LM. Link to comment
