monopod created impressionistic effect.

I really like the composition and the 'blurred' woman work well. It's very powerful. But why the stairs is not sharp? I would give this photo a higher rating if the stairs is sharp. Congrats.

Thanks for your comment. I didn't have a chance for a set up on this shot so I am using a handheld 200-400 zoom with IS.In this case the IS failed to compensate for the long exposure given the lighting circumstances. I have other shots after I set up with the monopod but none of those had the aesthetics of this one.. so it is 'flawed' but it seemed to have other qualities that made it worthwhile to show.

I must say that I like the impressionistic effect! It gives the image a totally different touch. Vivid colours are another important element. Regards!
