amalsircar 2 Posted August 15, 2009 Laurent, excellent composition and colour-contrast. Whenever and wherever I see colours, I remember you ,dear friend. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted August 15, 2009 So nice to have you back delivering some goodies. As I look at this I wonder whenever you followed her work a longer time and decided to capture her in such anonymous posture, sorta acting like a splash of green color rather than a straight person with identity? What makes me smile here is the one chair facing directly towards your camera, sorta being an attendant asking "Hey man, why are you shooting us?" In every gang there is one more awake than the rest... ;-) Link to comment
joshloeser 0 Posted August 15, 2009 Very classic way of breaking up a pattern. Great shot. Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 26, 2009 There's something ironic and slightly comic about this picture that I like very much. The chairs seem elegantly formal and orderly while the cleaning lady simply goes about her business unawares. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted August 27, 2009 Thanks, I'm glad you like the shot. Actually, it was a very quick shot as usual , I only had a couple of fast clicks and left. What struck me was the contrast between the beauty of the place, a castle overlooking the sea as you can see in the background, the tourists carelessly visiting and wandering across the premises, and the penible job imposed on the woman who had just received orders from her harshly speaking manager. The temperature was hot under the early afternoon sun, and she had to prepare the chairs for some privileged and wealthier people that were to attend a concert in the castle's yard in the evening.
