the comment about the earring, I would have never guessed! It looks like the sun setting... I would say it's the sun setting as opposed to rising because of the washed out, almost dead feeling to the colors - the blueish, grey, yellow and gree sky, I'm not sure if you were going for that, or if it was supposed to be a beautiful pictures of nature. Its disturbing though, with the colors and the huge ear and the text - I think its appropriate though, for the message

I was just looking at one of my diamond earrings the other day and

put it on, thinking this would look cool if I combined it with a

sunset picture I always admired but wouldn't put up on photo net

because I knew it would probably get bashed like most of my other

stuff does occasionally.

Do you think this is an interesting concept for perhaps an

environmental poster or something?

What refining has been suggested? Please be specific for the benefit of the rest of us. Are you suggesting a bolder font? Or less vignetting? Or more ear? Or what? Fundamentally the image works for me, looks like it belongs in a stock catalog (maybe with that caption but no in-picture lettering).

Maybe a more close up image...this is just too distant of an horizon and too large of an ear. Maybe a tree trunk with a smaller ear superimposed on it, or soem type of flower. maybe even some animals just sditting up appearing to be listening. Lots of potential.

I'm not saying - i'm listening.

(I think posters are better portrait-composed. I'd prefer this so, with the ear complete in the frame.)
