wonderful composition with the hands, gaze and cup... even the light value choice in the cup is a very good one.

 

You don't need the likes of me to tell you that this is a very successful image, but I'll do it just the same...

 

From absolute white to absolute black....and everything in-between... a winning composition all around.

my suggetsion..

1. The right & left 1/6 (black area) does not contribute to this wonderful photo.. Maybe you can cut them off to bring more focus.. (making them a portrait format)

2. The drift down water on the background is a excellent idea.. but please tune them down a little bit to avoid distrction to main subject. I think it compete with main subject a little..

3. lighten the subject just slighly and slightl more contract wo'nt hurt for this photo..

4. the smoke on the cup is very brilliant diea !!!.

 

In my opinion,, This photo is closed to a MATER PIECE grade.. just missing a liitle of here and there.. and you should be pround of thsi artwork..
