think you have something here.... but the washed out, overexposed is too much. I want to see the rest of the image. blur would have worked better. at this point, perhaps experiment with some cropping.

Hi Jody, your critiques are much appreciated. I did some experiments with PS in the way you suggested... looks nice. What I like in my picture is the way my eyes at first sight try to catch the details of the overexposed wemen, than inevitably be captured by the baby's face...
