david_l._forney 0 Posted August 11, 2009 This is a candid shot of Sienna as she was playing outside with her father just before sunset. All natural lighting and beauty. Comments and ratings welcome. Thank you in advance. David Link to comment
bmm 0 Posted August 11, 2009 I don't usually rate kids portraits highly especially posed ones but this is a delighful capture - technically good and great little expression. 6/6 Link to comment

david_l._forney 0 Posted August 11, 2009 Thank you both Bernard and Alon. This actually is not a posed shot. She was at a park running around playing with her father and my son. I sat still with a 200mm lens snapping shots of all of them when I could. In this image, she stopped moving for a moment and simply looked at me. It was a fleeting, but beautiful moment. Thanks for your kind words. David Link to comment

david_l._forney 0 Posted August 12, 2009 Suman, Rajat, Nikolai, Maurizio, Peter and Sonali, I appreciate your comments very much. I like this strait on shot. Nothing fancy or different, but it works for me. Thanks again. David Link to comment
jeketi 0 Posted August 13, 2009 Stunning portrait. And, more amazing after reading that it was a candid shot. It looks like it is from a different era. Well done. Peace, Jeanne Link to comment
david_l._forney 0 Posted August 13, 2009 Thanks, Jeanne!! If I recall, I was at 200mm (on a full frame camera), and I cropped the image considerably to isolate this precious image. I admit, though, that I did remove the cracker crumbs around her mouth. Thanks again.. David Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted August 13, 2009 ah! that's what she has tucked away into her mouth... explains the slight swell on her left cheek... i had originally thought it either a trick of the light or just the child's expression of her individuality Link to comment
david_l._forney 0 Posted August 13, 2009 Interesting observation, Rajat. But since her mouth isn't open, I can neither confirm nor deny!! David Link to comment
