thadley 72 Posted August 8, 2009 Not sure why the fours and threes without some comment. You have a 50 percent split - sky vs wild flowers. While there is nothing wrong with that, the image might be more appealing if you went for more flowers and less sky or the other way around. In my humble opinion, the image is a little 'flat' and could take some increase in contrast. I write this because i want it to be a constructive comment so I hope you find it in that light. You can tell me to delete it if you want. Just my opinion where there are nio rights and wrongs. have a great day.
ezhilan 0 Posted August 17, 2009 Looks beautiful. Nice capture. I think that the lone tree adds more beauty to the photo.
Guest Guest Posted August 19, 2009 Ezhilan & Eduard - many thanks - your comments and ratings are appreciated.
JimCowan 0 Posted October 18, 2009 Bella,For me your image is about 'feeling', we have all experienced days like this with beautiful dramatic light and a sky and landscape that compete for attention. I think this is truly impressionistic as you have captured a little of what it must of felt like to be there on that day at that time. Jim
alfbailey 6 Posted December 5, 2009 I echo what Jim has said above, there is a great deal of mood and character in this image, you can almost smell the wild flowers, I think it's very refreshing and natural, as Tony rightly comments above, "there ar no rights or wrongs" but it's always worth experimenting with the cropping tool., but as always the main thing is enjoying what you do. Kind Regards Alf
don_gallagher 22 Posted December 5, 2009 I like the feeling and mood of the photo: Sitting in the flowers and looking at the dramatic sky. But I would also like to suggest a different crop to perhaps strengthen the composition. If you performed an 8x10 crop, removing the right edge of the photo and the majority of that tall vegetation, it would put the tree and interesting sky in a less centered position in the photo.
photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted March 4, 2010 Bella, Wow.....this is beautiful. I love the colors. Great shot. Take care, Patsy
Guest Guest Posted March 8, 2010 Patsy - thanks. I got a bit discouraged in the beginning so I stay mostly on the sidelines, learn and be inspired.
