cmouli 0 Posted November 27, 2009 I took this from top of Steptoe Butte - near Colfax, WA. While waiting for sunset shots of hills around Palouse, I noticed this "S" shaped curve in the road leading to the top of the butte. The rolling hills near Idaho/Washington border is a wonderful landscape - and one of the most fertile regions. The loess near Palouse, Colfax were most likely formed due to fine volcanic ash blown by wind over the ages. From a vantage spot ("steptoe"), views are dramatic particularly during dawn and dusk. comments welcome.. Link to comment
ivanna 0 Posted November 27, 2009 Excellent composition, I like also the contrast between the nature and sharp black curve of the way. Perfect photo, congratulations! Best regards, Ivana Link to comment
