This is a very good set of ideas here. Strong diagonal, good background, and the idea of the dress by itself is a good concept. In the future, even though those fittings on the hanger are made for holding items like this, apparently, I think you would do better, appearance-wise, with a wooden or smooth shaped hanger. A simple hanger shape could make this photo setup look a little better.

 

You've exceeded anything I've ever done with photographing clothes, but my eye is drawn by the diagonal beyond the dress to the plastic hanger. That hanger looks too common for this nice dress. It's a good photo, but if you do another one of these, I would suggest changing out the hanger style.

Thank you!! I did use a wood hanger for it indoors, but it was so smooth that was sliding off, and I was petrified the dress would fall off to the ground lol. I wonder if I should try to photoshop that in, using the photos of it inside with the wood over this. Thanks!
