lightwriting by swapan 0 Posted July 31, 2009 Spotted by a roadside hut in Tripura-India. Per family he is 107 years old and is on no medications. Stone deaf-has one tooth left and he is always happy! What a wonderful way to be demented! Link to comment

Christal1664882414 0 Posted August 3, 2009 Amazing that he would allow you to take his picture....and he actually seems quite pleased about it! This image should be seen. If I were you I'd submit it to some magazines like National Geographic and such. Link to comment
lightwriting by swapan 0 Posted August 3, 2009 For liking this wonderful gentleman. Andrew, I have already narrated the story .. spent only a few minutes with him by the roadside ! I was fascinated with him! Dont know anything more. I definitely plan to visit his place next time when I go home in India Christal, I have not yet come across somebody in rural India who would not let me take his pictures! Women are, at times, hesitant but that is because of the culture. Most of them are actually happy and pose for you-especially when you are one of them, speaking their language. My conclusion, eating less is helpful for long, happy, disease free life ! Link to comment
andrewsoem 0 Posted August 3, 2009 Thanks for the added narrative, Dr. Chaudhuri. It's as if he's attained Buddhahood...and perhaps he has! Link to comment
