The strong geometrical lines of the man-made fences are such a lovely foil to the whimsically leaning tree. The absence of a background makes this especially effective.

I like this a lot. It is reminiscent of Michael Kenna's work, even down to the toning. Had it been me there, I would have killed for a ladder to get a little extra height so that the fence and base of the tree could be separated.

The uneasiness of the leaning tree is contrasted wonderfully by the formal and calm inducing symmetry of the fence. A beautiful photograph!
