Very dramatic rendition. I have the feeling that you have taken some liberties with reality, but, heck, I wasn't there. And since I owe allegiance to the idea that one makes pictures rather than just letting the camera take them, this is a fine image.

Hi Gerry. Thanks for your compliments and thoughts on the shot. For what it's worth, there isn't any 'trickery' involved. This is simply one exposure with my camera with some adjustments in contrast to get it to where it was when I was there. It was naturally quite dark in parts because of the angle of the sun and the fact that I was shooting straight into it. But then again, I'm not one who believes a photograph is ever a representation of 'reality', so we may just have conflicting ideas :-)
