tonycussen 0 Posted July 20, 2009 This is a different treatment of a shot I posted before. The crop is the suggestion of Rajat Poddar a PN member which I think makes for a better composition. Any thoughts or comments? Regards Tony Link to comment
marty_schoo 0 Posted July 21, 2009 Three things I like... Angle of the shot, composition and the stormy mood. One thing I find destracting though is the white sign. Next time take the screwdriver and shifter... lol, just kidding. Good shot, cheers Link to comment
sadeghmiri 1 Posted July 23, 2009 Very nice shot Tony, You have captured the Church in a dramatic and stormy weather in a very good composition and wonderful mood and light . 6/6 Best regards Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted July 24, 2009 trying to look at it afresh... great perspective... the church has a nice gritty look which accentuates its sturdiness... the sky is dramatic and adds excellent value to the composition... the gate looks weather-worn and though not as solid-looking as the church, still has a certain charm... the shiny plaque is a nuisance, no doubt about that... the dullness of the grass suits the mood of the photograph and also contrasts well with the richer-hued hedges or bushes... the bi-toned path in front is well-included, its dividing line adds depth to the photograph and also adds value to the composition... in sum a fine photograph... oh, i forgot to mention the cross -- it looks great silhouetted up there against the sky Link to comment
