ellery 0 Posted July 20, 2009 I agree, love the deep orange/reds - I especially think the subjects in the photo really make it much more interesting. Link to comment
mike_stemberg 40 Posted July 21, 2009 Reminds me of those long long train journeys I made when travelling by rail across India. There was many a time especially at dawn or around sunset when I wished I could just stop the train and just get off ..... Link to comment
ezhilan 0 Posted July 22, 2009 Good capture. I like the sun's position - between the clouds and the mountain. Link to comment

nabs 0 Posted July 23, 2009 great shot. one gets to see scenic sunsets quite often, but no many with so much to see in a single frame. silhouettes, mountains, star burst, clouds, water every thing. beautiful tones too. i believe this pic deserves much higher rating than what it has got. I specially wonder how ppl rated it at 4-4. defies evrything. Link to comment
subc 0 Posted July 23, 2009 Interesting. mainly 'cos of the silhouettes. their position's intriguing. well composed. Link to comment
sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted July 28, 2009 This is a nicely composed shot with attractive textures on the water-surface. To me, the group of people in the foreground is a little heavy for the composition. When the image is viewed on a well-calibrated LCD screen, the color contrast seems to be higher than required. IMHO, you may take this fact into consideration when composing your images for PN. I think, this may be the reason for 4/4 ratings. Best regards. Link to comment
arup 0 Posted July 30, 2009 Thanks Sumon for viewing. Actually I did not make any colour, contrast, brightness etc. adjustment in PS. Only thing i did is sharpening the image a little bit. Otherwise it is exactly what i clicked. So i don't understand the matter of seeing the image a bit darker or contrasty in a well calibrated monitor since amount of post processing is almost nil. sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted July 31, 2009 Arup, It’s not related to post-processing. I just requested you to check the contrast level of your monitor. Best regards. Link to comment
