shanm 0 Posted July 20, 2009 My Brother, I am now aware of the break in the wood on the barn, it's funny how you dont see somethings in a photo until you post them. I will re-post with a repair. Would love to get your thoughts on this one. Link to comment
william_staniforth 0 Posted July 20, 2009 Six Gun ! Looks more like a Howitser ! Great idea , I think I would have prefered the focus on the barrel though , Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted July 20, 2009 An eye catching shot (pardon the pun), but would have more realism with bullets.. :-)... Mike Link to comment
luis.miro 0 Posted July 20, 2009 Amazing shot Shannon! The perspective and the b&w work are impressive, well seen and performed! Regards, Luis Link to comment
shanm 0 Posted July 21, 2009 Thank you all for your comments. This is my brother, and his 44 Blackhawk. He would have never let me take the photos with the gun loaded. I enjoy the shoot. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted July 21, 2009 I love the perspective and the crop. I think having the focus on the hand and the six chambers would have been better. Also I would have liked a bit more foreground lighting so that the face under the hat would be more in the image, but I understand that one cannot always choose the direction of the light for the shot. shanm 0 Posted July 22, 2009 Yes, I agree,,,I have not done many shots like this, so it's a learning curve. Good thing is, He lives on the same property, so getting the chance to do it again will not be hard. Thanks for the comments, it's greatly appreciated. smile,,, Link to comment
