Interesting, but doesn't quite come together for me. Desaturation effect seems unnecessary or overdone, and there is no real organic relationship between the model and the bed.

Thanks for the input Les. I couldn't decide between BW and color since I was just blown away with her vividly blue eyes and I wanted to show them, but didn't I didn't like the picture in color. I was messing around and to me the desaturation created a certain mood for me and I also got to show her beautiful eyes.

 

I do tend to agree about the bed issue, but not sure how to fix it. I think the fact that the sheets are still a bit tucked in closes it off a bit. Maybe if they were spilling over and there was no hard line between the gray base and the sheet it would work better with her very informal pose.

Beautiful photo. The saturation reduction create a smooth color and atmoshere. Good expression of the wonderful model. The only critic is, imo, the cut of the hands fingers, that gives some unlogic. My best regards. Giorgio
