pfranklin 0 Posted July 23, 2009 Nice shot Calvin, I like this area and the photo opportunities are endless here! The color saturation is maybe a bit much, however the colors at the dam and the lake are amazing so maybe this is the way it was. Are you from Canada? Thank you for sharing Best regards, Pamela Link to comment
whoz_the_man_huh 0 Posted July 23, 2009 No you're right, Pamela. Real life was definitely not this vivid. I live on Canada's west coast in Vancouver, and visit Seattle all the time. Good to meet a fellow Northwesterner. Link to comment
tonyazzopardi 0 Posted September 16, 2009 Thanks for visiting my portfolio again and commenting on my photo "The Hands That Played The Sax". You have a great photo here, nice POV and composition. You created a great lead-in with the water stream. Colours are nice but, in my opinion, a tad over saturated. Perhaps you can adjust them by using Image>Adjustment>Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. Still, a very striking image, well done. Link to comment
whoz_the_man_huh 0 Posted September 17, 2009 Thanks, Tony. You're right. I think I went overboard with the saturation on this one. Link to comment
michael_weymes 0 Posted November 10, 2010 This is a great view, oodles of contrast, color interest, if I had a criticism it would be that the HDR is a bit overdone Link to comment
whoz_the_man_huh 0 Posted November 13, 2010 HDR was not used but thanks very much for the compliment, Michael. Link to comment
