hstelljes 41 Posted July 15, 2009 Please view LARGER. This small river leads to the Raritan Bay. If you view larger you can see the masts of sailing boats in the distance. All of this wilderness is less than a mile from the Bay/Ocean. The late afternoon sun in the fall really makes this place come alive with color, well worth visiting. C&C always welcome. Thanks for your time. Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted August 2, 2009 I love the fall and I like this image very much. Great composition where the water portion leads the eyes to other delights. All of the colors appear to be 'normal' except the sky and since I was not there, it is difficult to judge. On my monitor, (intransit), the sky seems to have a slight cyan bias. Just remember, this is just one person's opinion and it is offered in an atmosphere of sincerity. All the very best, Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted August 2, 2009 Tony you are absolutely right. Now that I look at it I realize I went to far on that adjustment. Thanks for helping me see. This is how we learn and coming from someone of your abilities it makes me want to learn more about proper processing of my photos. Thanks again. Link to comment
witness 0 Posted September 20, 2009 With the exception of shooting product photography for advertising, I say anything goes with regard to color. For me the sky adds an element of interpretation and originality. While I agree the hue may not have been 100% accurate via the original scene, and the sky doesn't make nor break the shot, it works wonderfully IMO. Nice job. Link to comment
