atle.g 0 Posted December 30, 2002 Great shot with a definitive touch of mystery. To be very picky i might have consider a left crop close to the road that could given even more attention to the center and right. Regards! Link to comment
sigfridlopez 0 Posted December 30, 2002 Among the most beautiful forests / parks / trees composition I've seen in photo.net. Really outstanding. The shadows crossing the light path created between the red leaves are simply impressive. Everything in this composition is beautifully ethereal. Great. Link to comment

ben_owen_browne 0 Posted January 2, 2003 There seem to be a lot of in-to-the-sun shots of trees on here at the moment, and many of them are doing much better than this one is. But to my eyes, well... this one is THE best of the bunch. The simple colours are so autumnal and so sharp; the shadow which draws your eye from the centre straight to the tree is so clever; and the road, flowing the other way, gives such balance. And you know what..? It suddenly occurred to me that the new Travis album has a very similar thing happening on the cover. And then, because I am meant to be doing somethign more important, I decided to see how this pic would look as YOUR album cover... Link to comment
BrettPrucha 0 Posted January 2, 2003 I like Ben's crop suggestion... well looking at it again it's not a crop. It appears like it was stretched in. Link to comment
ben_owen_browne 0 Posted January 2, 2003 I don't mean to be making crop suggestions. I was just having fun with a shot which I think is already quite perfect. Don't change a thing, that's what I say..! Oh - and with a promise that this is the last thing I'm going to do on this page - look at this... Link to comment

rdwhiteman 0 Posted January 4, 2003 creates a stronger mood for this image and was a good choice. I feel that this is one of those photos that needs to be seen large to really see the nice details. Link to comment
