Guest Guest Posted July 4, 2009 No critique from me here, but a question. I'd really like to know what lens and aperture you used for this shot. The d.o.f. is very deep...I can count the frames in the windows beside the door of the house...the detail in the background is amazing. Whatever your exposure data...it was an excellent choice. amalsircar 2 Posted July 6, 2009 Jack, Angel Island, indeed. It appears you had a great vacation this year. Link to comment
minicucci 0 Posted July 7, 2009 I love this shot. Palm trees, shorts and flip-flops meet fleece, jackets and empty picnic grounds. The very definition of a cold, cold summer's day. Not surprised to find that Angel Island is next to San Francisco whose idea of summer can be a bit warped. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 7, 2009 Great picnic atmospher, I like the composition with the open space, the details in BG and FG ( wine bottle, I hope you have had a glass too....;-)) , The woman is interested, but the child looks at the angel with the camera...... ;-)) Very tempting, looks you had a good time there. Guest Guest Posted July 8, 2009 I agree with Pnina...you simply must view the large version of this photograph to fully appreciate the detail. Link to comment
